So... I meant to post earlier today, but I've been very busy. The day just gets away from me sometimes. Anyway, I did take the advice of my BIL and stopped weighing in daily. I haven't weighed myself since Wednesday, and I am erasing that weigh in from my mind. I am happy to report that I am down 2 pounds from last Sunday for a total weight loss of exactly 8 pounds over 4 weeks.
If you would have asked me at the beginning of this experience, how much I would lose in the first 4 weeks... I would have told you a number in the double digits. Does that mean I am upset with where I am? No, not really. I am averaging 2 pounds a week; I think that is pretty good. Plus, I am really making changes... I find myself making smart, healthy choices without even thinking about it.
