I am now officially a SAHM (Stay at Home Mom), so what is the next step for me… start a blog, of course. I feel like such a cliché because it seems that every SAHM creates a blog. At first I thought it was pretentious, how self important do these women think they are? I mean, how many SAHM blogs do we need? Then I started reading some of these blogs, most I found looking at pins through Pinterest (btw, I love Pinterest), and these women have great interesting stories and are just real people. I began getting lost in all the stories I read, I was hooked on reading about these women’s lives. I then began pondering the idea of creating a blog of my own after reading another mother blogger, Mama Laughlin. She has had amazing weight loss after each of her two pregnancies, through hard work and determination. I was inspired. I am finally going to start losing my baby weight. One thing she recommended was blogging about your weight loss journey because it helps keep you focused and holds you accountable. So here I am, being held accountable and staying focused. I plan on writing about my weight loss and maybe I’ll throw in some other life stuff too… because, of course, I think I am funny and interesting. I don’t think I am going to reinvent the wheel here, just share my story. So… ‘how many SAHM blogs do we need?’ My answer is: one more, mine.
